I've got networking running but safari won't load pages, it will just time out.
If i try bridging the connections, i just lose connectivity on my host.
I can get to my router config screen (192.168.1.1) but not to any internet sites.
In networking in OSX 10.3 (Panther), I have a green dot and dhcp is working fine.
When looking at the indicators in the system tray, i don't seem to see the web page data coming into the system, but there is data flow when the request is sent.
My host machine has no problems using internet.
I can ping the router from the network utility, but everyting else results in 100% packet loss.
I know that some of it is working because when i used the whois tool in the network utility it was able to take a domain name (google.com) and change it into a ip address.
What do i do to load webpages/internet data?

Could it be DNS?
In OS X, manually type in your DNS. You can find that in connection properties in windows.

One or the other. Try typing the router (or bridge) ip in first, then try typing the real DNS.
