Shareware Heroes Book

Post by ClockWise »

Hey, if you are in the mood to support one more Kickstarter, maybe check out this one:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/vi ... are-heroes

Our friend Richard Moss is following up his book about Macintosh Gaming with "Shareware Heroes - Independent Games at the Dawn of the Internet."

It needs a little bit more cash to get completed. I supported this book in the original round of funding via "Unbound" and contributed a cool dollar bill to get the Kickstarter backer total up.

Thanks ClockWise! Always appreciate the signal boost. And at 80% funded in a week, I'm delighted to say that it looks like the Kickstarter will comfortably hit its goal — which is a great relief after the struggles we had with funding on Unbound.

It also means that pretty soon I can stop worrying about marketing (until the manuscript is done, at least), which will be an even bigger relief because I so desperately want to just focus on the content.

In case anyone has a few extra bucks, this project is about 478 GBP from meeting an interesting stretch goal that would add a new section to the book.
