I prefer (in order of increasing posts) ...

SoftMac
Mini-vMac
vMac
Executor
Fusion PC
Basilisk II
SheepShaver
PearPC

(But I have a feeling Gwenole might make SheepShaver even better.)

Thanks, I'm glad you think they're good.

I would prefer a system that somehow makes sense in characterizing the different ranks. Doesn't have to be mac specific, but should be understandable to a non-native speaker

so far I like robojam's proposal the most, although I dont know what Inquisitive Elf, Space Cadet or Apple Corer means

What is wrong with calling a Newbie a 'Novice' or a 'N00b'... This is at least descriptive.

Kybernaut and The Cap'n both have made very good suggestions. If someone could find a way to work "Two Dollar Whore" and "Alexandre Daigle" into one of the schemes, I would change the system in an instant.

So what exactly is the "Alexandre Daigle" supposed to mean?

I think Alexandre Daigle is a person, but I'm not sure.

Kybernauts ranks are very funny :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D , but some people wouldn't like to have those below there name.
