4.1 Screamer, 4.1 ATI Rage128, or 4.2 Screamer?

Post by swordlink1 »

I've already deleted my current QEMU, and I'm going to be moving to Mac OS X Leopard.
However, I want to know, which build with sound should I pick? :?:
I saw a topic saying QEMU sound is choppy on Mac OS X.
Which one is not choppy or at least the least choppy? (for leopard)
I'm running Windows 10.
Thanks!

Those are all old... Qemu 5.0 with screamer and hardfloat fpu speed-up is the one I use. The ATi Rage128 code (such as it is) is bundled by default now.

The FPU speed-up really decreases the choppiness in the audio.

[edit] Just noticed the Windows target. Has nobody built Qemu with the screamer and hardfloat patches for Windows yet?

It is right there among the experimental builds. Just lacked a proper description.
