About BasiliskII, a 68k Mac emulator for Windows, MacOSX, and Linux that can run System 7.x through MacOS 8.1.

Hi, I dowloaded it from http://ronaldpr.home.xs4all.nl/basilisk ... 190504.zip
. The main app, BasiliskII.app, is 64-bit and works fine on my MacOS Mojave. But BasiliskIIGUI is still 32-bit and therefore it will not work in the next system. Thanks!

Yes, the GUI app is stil 32-bit. We are very much aware of that. Unless someone creates a 64-bit GUI app, users will have to edit the prefs file manually again like before we had the GUI app.
Our member emendelson created a script that will make it a little easier. But it is not a full GUI. viewtopic.php?p=63978#p63978

Could you remind me where the preference file is stored?

The script by emendelson can open the prefs file in TextEdit for manual editing.
The file is a hidden file at root level of your Home folder: ~/.basilisk_ii_prefs

Easy to edit then: good news! Thanks! For that answer and for all the work you've done over the years!

I suddenly remember:
Our member "munkymajic" was working on a new GUI for BasiliskII OSX. It was coming along fine although the last version I tested was still in beta and still had several serious issues. Haven't heard from him since december.viewtopic.php?p=61223#p61223
Edit: I sent him a PM.
