Inverted Colors in 256 color mode
Hello, I have Basilisk 142 (since newer versions will not run on my computer). I wanted to play some Simcity 2000, but it does not like The 32-bit mode. So I switched it 256 color mode, and the colors are inverted and on bootup it crashes to an error message telling me there is not enough ram (64 mb). My question is, how can I fix this?

Re: Inverted Colors in 256 color mode
Basilisk II build 142 uses an old version of SDL that has an endianness bug in 256 color mode. The only way to fix this would be to re-compile build 142 with a newer version of SDL 1.
Is there some particular reason newer versions won't run? Seems to me that for most situations, the newer builds should be more stable and compatible than 142 is, as all the stuff that can easily break has been removed, and bugs have been fixed.
