I bought OS 8 from ebay and it just got in today but the installation is not happening. I then remembered that the guy said he used them for his old Imac. Imac = PPC?
So Im guessing this version will not work with Basilisk II?

Mac OS 8 includes both PPC and 68K code, so it can run on either 68k Macs or PPC Macs.
Make sure you have a valid 68k ROM image for use with BasiliskII.

Is it version 8.0 or a later version? Basilisk II will not run 8.6
