Multiple Resolution Support?

Post by Antman »

Hello,
I am trying to run an older game (Caesar II) on Basilisk II, primarily because I only have the Mac-CD version of the game, and not the PC-CD version (I used to use a lot of Macs). However, it seems that Caesar II checks to make sure you can use the 800x600x8 resolution/depth by seeing it is available thru the Macintosh API... however, if I set Basilisk II to -anything- else, it refuses to acknowledge that it can use that resolution, and quits. I cannot stand to look at B2 with 800x600, and the game is really compressed quite small.

Is there any way I can get an option to allow the OS inside Basilisk to set the resolution?

I'm not using the latest version but I'll say no. Just reboot with 800x600 settings on to play that game... booting goes so fast, it's not such a problem I guess.. or get used to 800x600 ;)
