Hello guys, I got Two Questions

Post by ILoveApple248 »

One: How can I get internet on Macintosh OS 7.5.3? Do you have to use dial up or can you use BroadBand?

Two: Does anybody know where to get free programs for Mac os 7.5.3? I need games, word procssers, drawing utilities, etc. Thanks

Thanks! :o

-Install the Basilisk ethernet driver in windows.
-Make sure you have ethernet also installed in Mac OS

In Mac OS, got to the TCP/IP control panel and set:
-connect via: Ethernet and
-configure: Manually
-use an ip-address in the same subnet as your Windows host PC (i.e only the last three digits differ)
-use 255.255.255.0 for subnet
-use the same router ip-address as you would in your Windows host PC
-use the same nameserver ip-address as you would in your Windows host PC

I had a whole lot of 68k software uploaded on the Macintosh Emulation Software Station until almost a year ago when I took everything except the webpages off. But the pages can give you many program (& file) names that you can hunt down elsewhere. I would re-upload everything back, but I've been on NetZero basic since I took everything down.
