I've seen a screenshot (http://emaculation.com/screenshots/screen8.gif) of Basilisk II connected to an iDisk. How would I go about doing that myself? :?

Basically, you need to get online. You can either turn on BII's networking features (I have no expirience with that one, so I can't help) or attach a serial modem and connect to a dial-up ISP.

I already have a .Mac trial account, and the only documentation I can find for connecting to my iDisk on a Mac is for OS X. :(

Google is your friend :-) Have a look at <http://www.jagshouse.com/iTools.html> . Apparently, using a recent AppleShare client, you should be able to access your iDisk from a 68K Mac. No idea if it still works. If can upgrade to SheepShaver and OS 8.1, Goliath (http://www.peachpit.com/articles/articl ... Num=2&rl=1) looks like a good bet.

I upgraded the AppleShare client to 3.8.6 on my Mac OS 8.1 installation, went into the Chooser and typed in "idisk.mac.com" (without the quotes) on the "Server IP Address" window, and it refuses to connect. It gets stuck on "Contacting idisk.mac.com" with the animating barber pole. :(

You could also try with AppleShare 3.8.3... (Somebody using B2 <http://pcbuyersguide.com/software/system/BasiliskII-software.htm> got it working). All these sites are at least 4 years old, so it's possible that AppleShare support has since been broken... <http://www.68kmla.net/archive/topic.asp%3FTOPIC_ID=5437.html>

Good luck.
