still cant get cds to work

Have you pressed Ctrl-Shift-F11?
Also, when you run Basilisk II in Windowed mode right-click on it's button on the task bar to choose the mount CDs button.
Is this a retail Macintosh CD?
Do you have the CDROM and related extensions loaded in your extensions folder?
Which Windows version are you using?

im using windows xp, i dont think i have any extetions because i have a downloaded version of mac os 8 and im trying normal audio cds which used to work with older versions of mac.

i got it to work by taking system 7.6.1's extentions and putting them in the extension folder then taking system 8's and putting them back in to the extention folder so that i wouldnt have outdated extentions except for those that i didnt have before.
