Setting up a cable connection with B2 and Mac OS 8

Post by Black Lotus »

Ok, B2 is running smoothly, but my new Pseudo-Mac is feeling sort of lonely. I have a small 2 computer network with a router and cablemodem and such, and I'm currently running B2 on XP, but how do I get B2 and the Mac OS to use it? I've tried installing the drivers that come with Basilisk, but they don't seem to be compatable with Windows XP. I'm probably doing something wrong in installing them, so if anyone can give me a step-by-step on getting Mac OS and B2 online with cable and a router, I'd appreciate it very much if you could offer me your wisdom.

Thanks, and have a happy one,
Black Lotus

Here's how to install the Basilisk II Ethernet driver under XP: http://forums.delphiforums.com/MacEmula ... msg=4269.6

As for setting up Basilisk II for Ethernet, you might want to look at the Basilisk II for Windows User's manual found at the bottom of the following page, then ask for help if you get stuck: http://mes.emuunlim.com/quick/index.htm
