Why it don't work?

Post by GM Filth »

Ok, I have basilisk II already, with Mac OS 8.1, and it works fine...
This is an emulated Quadra 950, with a Performa 450-550 ROM Image, CPU = 68040 with &*$ FPU emulation enabled.

Everytime I try to start Dreamweaver 2.0 or Age of Empires I, it show me the same error message.. I am crazy with it, that's any thing I can do to these programs work fine??

Do those programs require a PPC Macintosh? The emulator does not emulate a PPC Macintosh.

No, it must be a 68k version.. first of all it could be installed, the PPC versions of Dreamweaver I just can't install because it reports me that's not a PPC...

Dreamweaver != 68k application. Same with AOE I.

Also, some installers are retarded.

I didn't know that the first Age of Empires was 68K compatible! That's keen. I don't know what the problem is.

What does the readme on the Dreamweaver 2.0 CD say about the type of Macs it supports?

Requires a PowerPC.

Sorry mang, you're out of luck.

I think AOE is PPC only.

Oh! I get it... "!=" means "does not equal."
