Blinking question mark.
I followed the instructions at http://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/bas ... _osx_setup to the letter to install BasiliskII on an Intel iMac running OS X 10.7.5, but at that final step, clicking Start gave me the blinking can't-find-the-startup-disk question mark. I deleted and re-installed everything and tried again, same result. Suggestions?

Re: Blinking question mark.
If you indeed followed the instructions to the letter, this should not happen. Something must be wrong with the assigned startup disk (image).
- You created the image using BasiliskIIGUI? (In the setup guide that file is named MacOS753)
- You initialized that volume at startup, naming that volume again MacOS753?
- You ran the installer application from the System 7.5.3 CD image?
- You selected the MacOS753 volume to be the target for the installation?
- When removing the other volumes (images) from the list in BasiliskIIGui, you kept the path to the MacOS753?

Yes, all of the above. I downloaded the image again, just in case the first download had become corrupted, but to no avail.

I found an abysmally stupid mistake in my procedure. Trying again.
