When using Mac OS 8.1, I can copy text from program to program. However, I can not copy graphics from window to window, regardless of which program they belong to. (The paste option is grayed out.) In fact, if I copy a graphic and switch to another window or program, the copy image will cease to be. Also, a copied graphic never shows up in the Finder's clipboard.
Some emaculation forum posts say that the Windows clipboard has to be empty for graphics copying to work, yet I have done so (echo off | clip), and graphics can not be copied still.
As far as I know (from the forum posts), this bug has only been observed in SheepShaver, so I have no idea what to do. Does anyone know of this problem?

Re: Concerning copying and pasting graphics in Basilisk II
the second thing I did when building from source was to turn off the shared clipboard. Why not copy the data out via a shared directory?
don't do today what you can put off until tomorrow.
Re: Concerning copying and pasting graphics in Basilisk II
I wasn't aware there was a option like that. Thanks

Re: Concerning copying and pasting graphics in Basilisk II
Before I mark this as solved, do I have to compile from source again, or do I just have to change the setting "noclipconversion" in Basilisk II's preferences file. (I turned it to false, but it did not work. Wondering if this worked before I spend time compiling the thing again.)

I have no idea, I just know bad things happened when I had several megabytes of text in my clipboard and MacOS did not like that..
I think it was intended for small stuff.
