Other sound output and MUNT MT-32 support?

Is there any way to add or use other sound output options in Basilisk II with OS 8.1 (Quadra 650 rom)? All I could see now is in-built sound.

Was there ever a support for it?

And is there any way to redirect MIDI output to MUNT - the MT-32 emulator I use for Dosbox and Atari ST?

I tried "installing" MIDI manager by copying into the System folder, but I cannot see any MIDI control panel.

I would like to try out Sierra's King's Quest V with MIDI output.. but I'm not sure if it's possible and don't know how, if possible.

[config]
Host : Windows 10 x64
Using latest available Basilisk binary from here (2015).
Quadra 650 rom.

Thank you for any info.

To my knowledge, there is no way to get midi output in Basilisk II.
The programmers did not incorporate MIDI in the code for Basilisk II or SheepShaver.

It may be possible to build something on a FusionPC basis, as Fusion claims to support serial output.
The downside is that FusionPC needs a WIN98 or lower DOS environment to run.
I did not hear of anybody making MIDI work with FusionPC so far. :(

MIDI is also available on PCE/macplus -- but you're going to be in black and white on that emulator. FUSION for DOS is a possibility, but it's tricky to set up under DOSBOX. You *could* try booting your computer in FreeDOS and running FUSION directly on the hardware; this *might* do the trick.

Than you for the information. Guess I will have to do without MT-32 emulaton for the supported games.

I wish there are other "sound boards" supported via Basilisk II or Sheepshaver.
