Scroll all the way down to "Installing the Mac OS"

I dunno if that image has all the control panels. Is there a "desktop pattern" control panel to fiddle with?

If not... you will have to get a fresh install of the OS. Now that you have an image to boot from, you should be able to install the OS after downloading it from the apple page. Ask if you need help with that.

You can change it from the Desktop Pattern control panels. If you downloaded 7. from Apple, it should be included as I'm pretty sure it was in mine. You just can't change it to a picture unless you use a special extra programme which I forgot the name of.

I think the background changing program is Decor:

(link don't work right now)

But in vMac? Uhm... it's all tiny any black and white to begin with....

The mini vmac help page has a little guide:

http://minivmac.sourceforge.net/doc/start.html

Look for the part that starts with "if you have any sort..."

If you download the whole MacOS from the apple website you should be able to just "install it" after booting up the disk image you already have.

Take a look at the same article:

http://www.emaculation.com/articles/intro.html

Under the "Installing MacOs section." It's meant for Basilisk, but it should be about the same once you are inside the MacOS.
