That must have been a really old build u had, the only difference between this .3pre build, and yesterdays .2pre build is just the version number, but I sense better things coming soon!
So besides the version number, is there actually *anything* different between 0.2 and 0.3?
I've been using the 0.2pre that was released a few weeks ago - is there any point in using this new ver?
well I was using the PearPC Win32 Binary w/ Networking and Fullscreen before .3pre and from what I can tell, I notice a increase in preformance but not a HUGE increase.
I'm trying out the 0.3pre now, I do notice it boots slightly faster than the SDL. But that's at 50ms redraw rate. After getting used to the SDL's similar performance with a smoother redraw setting, the 0.3 feels choppy.
Installed PearPC 0.3pre + SDL + clockfix , and whola , it says 714 Mhz on my Althon XP 2400+ , well , BSD subsystem takes 13 min to install compared to oringal PearPC bulit , which takes 32 min to install , fast eh ?
