Sheep Shaver for mac os x help

I know this is a pc forum but i need help, everything works its just I cant get the hard disk image to load, Ive tried hvf the blank 500meg version but that one doesnt show, anyone know?

if you read the title its sheep shaver for os x, Ive got it to boot the os 8.5 cd but i cant make a hard disk image that the os x version of sheep shaver can understand

I think he meant, "there is no version of SheepShaver for OS X".
Either way, have you tried the 500MB HFV image that's been floating around on this site?

Sheepshaver is available for OS X as a host from Gwenole's site. The link is http://gwenole.beauchesne.free.fr/sheep ... 07.tar.bz2.

Yea i tried that blank 500 meg HD but it didnt see it on the desktop

You can use .dmg file created by Disk Utility.

I think that SheepShaver required X for Mac OS X this link http://www.emaculation.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?t=898 is the first guy to run it on his computer

I got it all running, i can boot up using my os 8,5 disk and see whats on the disk and stuff, just im having problems making a hard disk

What about: dd if=/dev/zero of=MyDisk.dsk bs=1m count=<howmany> and then let MacOS format it? This is what I usually do...

how do I edit the config file

I tried adding . in front , but OSX says its only used for system files
