I wonder what will happen if the get to the one after 10.3.9 before Tiger is out (whether they will do 10.3.10 like linux or freak out).

Yeah, the whole .10 thing is rather confusing. Under the normal deciaml system .10 is the same as .1, but the folks at kernel development as well as GNOME and a few other packages rather enjoy the .10 and even .20ness.

Should I upgrade?
Can I upgrade from my current 10.3.4 version?
How do I do this through PeaPC? And what version should I use...the Delta or the combo version (I've downloaded both in the meanwhile, but how do I get the into OS X through PearPC)?
Advice very appriciated.

I don't know if it has to do with the upgrade, but my PearPC installation doesn't seem to work anymore (tried various builds).
So, I can't tell whether anyone experienced similar problems or not, but maybe I should advise you to be careful.

I updated 10.3.4 to 10.3.8 while in PearPC using the software update in the finder menu
it seems to be a little faster since upgrading
