When will a stabler version of SS for Windows be released?
I've really had enough of those cruddy crashes in SheepShaver. So, does anyone know when a newer stabler version of SheepShaver will be released? If not, I can wait. I understand that PowerPC emulation is hard enough, and what we have now is incredible. I didn't think PPC emulation would be possible!
Hi,
I can't answer your question, because I just don't know. The current release was more like a proof of concept. The developer is mainly linux orientated.
If you want a newer version for windows, you could try compiling it yourself through the use of cygwin. I am not shure if you will get new features or more stability, or even if the compile process will still work.
You can search the forum for help on compiling for windows with cygwin.
Best wishes,
