Internet stops after 1 page!

Post by Guest »

In MacOS 8.1, when I load up a browser and go to a page, it seems to work fine. The page loads up just how it should. But when I go to a different page, the internet (on the emu) stops working, I can't connect to any more sites! It used to work fine. (I have tried netscape 2.2 and IE 3.1)
Please help!

Browsers

Both browsers below version 3 (including version 3) have some very big bugs and performance hits, and I remember that Internet Explorer 2/3.x would actually crash on my real mac if you had two errors in a row (such as losing your internet connection while going to another page)

Internet Explorer 4 will solve much of these problems.

Cyberdog

You can try Cyberdog 68k or iCab 68k, there are a few fringe browsers that may do the trick if you are not going to any very modern or serious pages.
