Mouse lag in OS 7.5.5

Post by xeper »

Basilisk loads promptly and seems fine, but there's heavy mouse lag in the emulated window. Is this just part of OS 7.5.5 that I've forgotten, or is there a way to rectify it?

I do not see any cursor lag in 7.5.5 in BasiliskII MacOSX. You do not tell which version of BasiliskII you have running on which host system.

If you use BasiliskII on your Leopard MacBook, best use one of the newer builds (18 July 2008 build or full screen capable build, see sticky topics ) and make sure you have in the settings JIT Compiler enabled and Window Refresh Rate set to "Dynamic".

Sorry, I'm running the fullscreen build from March '09.
EDIT:
I adjusted the settings accordingly, and though my mouse cursor is still somewhat followed by its shadow, it's a noticeable improvement with Dynamic refresh rate (JIT was already enabled). Thanks for the tip!
