Post by Silent Flamer »

May I have the permission to submit a WinUAE guide in Emaculation.com?

Does the Amiga Mac emulation software work reliably in it? If so, I don't see why that would be any less OK than the tutorial about using Fusion in DOSbox.

The first brand new computer I puchased, was a A2000 B. Later I even added A-Max, a 68020 cpu upgrade and a SCSI host adapter.
I guess a guide to the "Unusable Amiga Emulator" would be a nice addition to the forum.
Why do you prefer a Windows host? AROS or Linux might be even more interesting with ShapeShifter.

If memory serves, I got ShapeShfiter (or it may have been BII) working in WinUAE. Was a few years ago.

I did set up a fresh installation of WinUAE with Workbench 3.1 a couple of months ago on my Windows box so I might have a go with ShapeShifter.

I do have ShapeShifter on my A1200 tower, but I never got it running beyond the happy mac due to lack of MacOS floppy disks. I should be able to get disks onto the machine now though as the machine is networked.

We're always happy to have some fresh content for the site. Please submit it, and one of us can even help wikify it, if you don't want to do that yourself.
