The attached file (HD-OS-X-Panther-PREP) is an image of a bootable 10.2 hard disk file.
It doesn't work with 10.3, only 10.2
-Rename the file to .zip and unpack.
There is an .rar file in it, which is the actual hd image
-unrar HD-OS-X-Panther-PREP.rar
and place the file to be found by pearpc, edit you ppccfg file.
EDIT: sorry about the name-confusion. It seems I don't know what I am talking about... But it works, and that's nice.

What's the difference between this, and say the 3 gig or 6 gig ones on the PearPC site?

It is your basic 3 GB image, but my Mac OS X installer has partitioned and formatted this image, so you are ready to install. It should be recognized as installable immediately..
Lets say, for your conveniance...
edit: And after just having tried it myself, I can say: IT WORKS!

The Cat only has 10.2, I think. Mike "Jackalo" Kolasaa has 10.3. He can make us one. Also, I have it, but have no luck. I'm going to use 10.2 shortly. If I can go back and get 10.3 working, maybe I will try to make one.

Hello
You wanna suck every last drop of honey from my cup?
I do have 10.3, but wasn't able to create a running image with it, so go ahead, make my day, with a image able to run 10.3.
I remember seeing reports of people not being able to boot after a 10.3 install, and not being able to install at all.
Succes to you, little greedy monsters

Oh, no... wait. I am at the "preparing installation" screen. Anyone got any tips as to what I should do when installing? Particulars, like.

Oh, my god: 23 hours. Swear to God. My computer is very old - 1 ghz. There is a 3 ghz machine in the next room over that I need to use. Darwin only took a couple hours. I went out to buy some shoes and it was done. This looks a little scarier.

If you run ppc with the 10.2 3gb image and ANY iso image, should ppc report that at least one volume might be bootable, or do you need an iso image of 10.2 (hmm, me go buy one then) OSX??
Thanks
