Kegs32 setup guide (Apple IIgs emulator)
I've posted a setup guide for Kegs32, an Apple IIgs emulator:
http://emaculation.com/doku.php/kegs
It's a setup guide for the Windows version of the emulator, which is rather difficult to get started.
I've included a number of helpful files (like usable copies of the GS/OS install disks) that are otherwise unavailable.
(Also a disk image with the OS already installed)

Need some help, please
Hello,
I would like to try the Universal version with snow leo and get as far as the blue screen.
I have assigned your image with sd51=new.po in a kegs_conf text file made with TextEdit.
Is there anything else, that should go into the kegs_conf file?
I typed: IN#5 at the prompt
The emulator told me: Check Startup device
The MODULAE.2MG in slot 5 gives me the same error.
Any suggestions what went wrong?
I never had a Apple_II, so I am bound to mess up things a bit, I´m afraid.

Get DiversiTune from What is the Apple ][gs? , remove all disk images , put the Diversi Tune disk in S5 D1 , hit <Break> (CTRL-BREAK) , type "PR#5" and insert the song disks . Play around , and find the true sound capabilities of the Apple IIGS .

Re: Kegs32 setup guide (Apple IIgs emulator)
I partook to your guide, with good effect, as you can see:
I used the installer disks, not the pre-installed disk.
The only real frustration I had was that to be able to change the wallpaper, I had to install CiderPress in order to install Bytescii (command line version) in order to install ShrinkIt (command line version) in order install Bytescii (GUI version) in order to install ShrinkIt (GUI version) in order to install a third party tool that allows you to set any APF image as the background.
Of course, I couldn't find anything that would convert a 16-colour 320x200 BMP into APF either, so I had to do that myself as well.
