Hi,
I could run latest OSX version V2.5 04/01/2019 from here :
viewtopic.php?f=20&t=7360
in OSX 10.6 on a MBP 2,1. In fact it's more stable than earlier versions.
Only problem i've found is it mixes keyboards layouts, US keymap gives an AZERTY layout (French), and Fr keymap gives a QWERTY... also other keys are different from a Mac keyboard either in Fr or US keymap :
typing < gives 2
@ gives a coma... ect
looks more like a PC keyboard ?
A bummer cause that version runs pretty well otherwise on SnoLeo.

Re: V2.5 04/01/2019 and keycodes
Is this using the SDL2 keycodes file that came with 2.5? Because I know we were having issues last year, but I thought those all got sorted out.
But if the keymaps are just reversed... that should be fixable.

With SheepShaver 2.5 you need a new keycodes file. You probably missed this in the description below the SheepShaver 2.5 download link:
If you use the keycodes file, you will also need to replace that file with the new one: http://ronaldpr.home.xs4all.nl/sheepsha ... ycodes.zip
Re: V2.5 04/01/2019 and keycodes
Indeed ! Missed that new keycodes files
Works all fine on 10.6.8. Thank you both and sorry for the bother.

Interesting that the version 2.5 build runs fine on OSX 10.6.8. It is built and tested to be compatible with OSX 10.7 and later. It makes use of some specific OSX features that were introduced in OSX 10.7.

yes, was surprised too. I tried this version on this OSX 10.6.8 machine cause i had random freezes with other versions, even doing nothing, sheepshaver would just brick itself.
So far this one seems more stable... full screen or windowed.
