The last tine I tried 10.5 Leopard in QEMU on Windows 10, it was slow to install but it only took about 2 hours.

qemu emulation is slow... it helps if you don't run anything while it is on setup and set qemu-system-ppc priority to real time

I guess it depends on your host system? Took me about 20 minutes on my M1.
One thing that really impacts speed is which virtual storage device you use. On some versions of QEMU, IDE is unbearably slow. On other versions, USB is unbearably slow.

the setup assistant wasn't kidding, even with a whole day with the VM on, it was still installing, then i accidentally closed the VM, then i gave up.

the newest version of windows 10, but qemu commands mostly transfer over, so it shouldn't matter.

i guess my task manager has another use apart from checking how much my system is using and closing tasks! thanks!
