Apologies if this not the right place for this, but I thought there might be some interest in the version of SheepShaver that I've got running in the browser: macos9.app (and a PPC build of System 7 with OpenDoc and QuickDraw GX installed). There's a blog post with more details.
Like the Basilisk II port (system7.app, macos8.app), it has integration with the "outside" environment (files can be dragged in and extracted, clipboard sync, persistence of a folder). It's all open source, based on some small modifications to kanjitalk755's fork: https://github.com/mihaip/macemu (the web bits are in https://github.com/mihaip/infinite-mac).
It's certainly not as fast as the native build, but if you're looking to show someone what Mac OS 9 as like or otherwise demo it, it's a lot easier than getting a full working SheepShaver setup.
