Sound Manager installation ?

Quick question about Sound Manager that I found here is it in .hqx format ? How to install it I do not know this format ?

Just unstuff it with Stuffit Expander.

I tried with Suffit & I get a folder with an extension which I copied to the system folder -> extensions but after reboot I still have no sound in System 7.1 ?

Have you gone into the Sound control panel and selected your output device yet?

Yes yes it's a recurring problem with System 7 there is never any sound... on System 7.5 it's automatic I don't know why ?
