Speed up SheepShaver? Possible?

Speed up SheepShaver? Possible?

Hello,

I apologize in advance for my stupid and perhaps even indirectly rude question...

I have been unable to make SheepShaver (or BasiliskII for that matter) run as smooth as their browser versions hosted here. This is especially baffling since the site author admits himself this shouldn't be the case. The slowdown is most noticeable with the Marathon games, which run around 5-8 FPS slower. I am using the latest Windows ShSh build from 7/11/23, with a New World ROM.
