BasiliskII Installer Won't Open

I'm trying to install BasiliskII on my M1 running 13.5.2 but doubleclicking the BasiliskII app doesn"t actually run the app.

I have the app in a folder with DiskTools_MacOS8, the OS753InstallerParts.dsk file and the PERFORMA.ROM file.

Am I missing a step?

BasiliskII is not an installer app, it is the actual emulator application.
BasiliskII will not run unless it is set up with the BasiliskII GUI application first.
You probably did not scroll down in the post where you downloaded BasiliskII itself. There you would have seen additional information for a new setup and links to the GUI apps and keycodes file.
On your M1 Mac you will need the the BasiliskII GUI app. You can find it here: viewtopic.php?f=6&t=10454
