I've come across an unexpected thing.
I'm running Basilisk II, 2024-10-19, with System 7.5.3 (US-English ISO).
When I mount all disk images for either of THINK C 6 or THINK Reference 2, and run the installer, it often crashes Basilisk II. It seems like if I select one item at a time for install, and install that item, and then select the next and so on, the likelihood of Basilisk II not crashing is way higher. Eventually after trying a few times the applications gets installed correctly.
I don't have a github account, maybe I should register there and issue a bug? Is the above description good enough, or is it too vague to reproduce?
Would be interesting if anyone else could have a go at trying any of those installers.
Basilisk II sometimes crashes when installing THINK C 6 and/or Reference 2

The guys developing MACE had similar issues, and found they needed to slightly improve their emulation of a rarely-used toolbox call to fix the issue. It's possible BII has a similar emulation problem? Probably worth at least filing an issue on the issue tracker, but there's no guarantee it'll be looked at any time soon -- not too many people are quashing 68k emulation core bugs these days.
