installing OS 7.5.3 issue

Post by Con_79 »

I'm installing OS 7.5.3 on a Windows host using QEMU. I'm able to get OS 7.5.3 to boot to the desk time and I'm able to initialize the 1gb disk image, but after it completed with this process it shows 66k in disk and 18.6MB is available. When I try to install the OS it says that there is not enough space. Why isn't it showing more of the 1gb space on the disk image?

Hi,

Please take a look at this part of our guide: https://www.emaculation.com/doku.php/m6 ... _mac_os_71
and follow the instruction on how to partition the disk after the first step you took. Does that help?

Best,

The result was the same. I was able to install OS 8 without any issues it's just OS 7 that is being a little stubborn.

To reproduce, please let us see your command line and tell us where the 753 installation medium came from.
