Sheepshaver M4 Sequoia direct ps print "setup 7" ?

I am just asking the question :

I currently use a Sheepshaver Version 2.5, 28 February 2024, universal.
with os 9.0.4 on a 2018 mac mini intel i7 and mac os 14 Sonoma.
And it is successful in direct printing on the postscript printer.

The Mac Mini M4 is tempting, but it runs on mac os 15 Sequoia, and it is a M arm64 architecture.

I would like to know if someone successfully
direct print on a postscript printer on a M architecture mac under mac os 15 Sequoia ?

I have not tried this for years (I do not own a PS printer). I suppose it will work as it will print from the emulator to the printer's IP-address on your network, bypassing macOS on the host. The host's architecture or macOS version should be irrelevant.

I use exactly this method with SheepShaver running Mac OS 9.0.4 on an M2 Apple Silicon Mac.

I will soon test this, since for me this became a critical thing, I will test is on another machine before upgrading the main one from Sonoma to Sequoia.
It is nice to have a path of upgrades since the main one is a 2018 i7 mini.
The M4 mini is not yet there performance wise. (I mean with Sheepshaver)

Printing with setup 7 on pa Postscript printer via LPR with Sequoia on a M4 mini works flawlessly.

I am now upgrading the i7 2018 mini to Sequoia and will also report result.

Just FYI, Apple has just reported that all Intel Minis are now considered "Vintage" (your 2018 i7) or "Obsolete" (my 2007 C2D). This suggests that Sequoia is likely your last OS update for that device.
