I'm playing Baldur's Gate on MacOS 9.0.4 using SheepShaver. There are 5 discs, the first 4 of which work perfectly fine. However, as soon as I enter an area which requires disc 5, the game quits stating "An Assertion failed in Infinity.cpp at line number 1692 - Programmer says: Demand for WED file failed."
I've tried reinstalling disc 5, but it doesn't solve the issue. Does anyone know what I could do to solve this?

Is there a WED file on disk 5? Sounds like the game couldn't read it.
Is the disk fully readable? Have you tried it on actual hardware or on QEMU-PPC?
It doesn't really smell like an emulation issue, although that doesn't mean it isn't.
