Yes, but a Key codes section is missing. After I create /save a configuration file, I must enter with NotePad into it and add e.g. the following lines.

key_compose_dialog = "F11"
key_change_cd_0 = "none"
key_toggle_mouse_grab = "F12"
key_toggle_full_screen = "Alt+Return"

If I modify and SAVE the config file with PearGui, these lines will dissapear and must be reintroduced.
Hope the future version to have this section

I just posted a 0.3.1 update with a new keyboard options tab. Let me know if you experience any problems.

Again, great gui (most others gave up on keeping updated) but I do have a problem! I can't download it! The zip file I download contains the build of .3 build of 8/17.

minor bug

Post by inversation »

Hey,

have noticed a teensy little bug with the interface for PearGUI. If i switch from 'Drives' to 'Network' or 'Boot', a tiny little bit of the bottom combo box from the 'Drives' tab remains, which is selectable. I'm not sure if this is only because of my visual style (which appears to be marginally bigger than the default themes), but I thought I would bring it to your attention. If you require, I can post a screenshot.

Cheers,
Aaron

PearGUI 0.3.2 Update

Post by BobMcGee »

I just posted an update (0.3.2) that addresses the display problem and adds a new option to automatically open the last configuration and a command to view log of last PearPC execution

very cool, thanks. However, I think its time for another updated release, as i've discovered 2 more bugs.

First one is that when PearGUI creates its config file, it creates a line for the video driver that reads:

prom_driver_graphic = "\video.x"

This has resulted in PearPC crashing and reporting:

[IO/PROM] <Error> prom_driver_graphic: can't open \video.x

I believe that simply making it read "video.x" instead of "\video.x" would solve that problem, since I keep mine in the PearPC folder, rather than the root of my drive :P

Lastly, the redraw interval is not being retrieved correctly when the config file is loaded. For some reason, it appears to add approximately 10 to whatever value is actually stored. ie if I set the interval to '10', when i look at it in a text editor, its still set at '10', but when i reload it in PearGUI, it shows up as '18'. This appears to be an issue for any range of numbers, though I have only done some basic testing up to the value of '200'.

Sorry to keep 'bug'ging you, just trying to offer my help for improvements and fixes.

Cheers,
Aaron

I've posted an update to address these two issues.

Aaron, thanks for finding the bugs and providing such verbose feedback. Are you interested in testing before I release?

Always happy to provide assistance for worthwhile products such as these. If you would like someone (else?) to help with testing this stuff, i'd be delighted to do so. :)
