Oh of course. Anyway, I unzipped it and did the rest and it works. Thank you!

What am I doing wrong here?
I am trying to load "Strategy Games of the World" https://macintoshgarden.org/games/strategy-games-of-the-world into Qemu. I am emulating a mac 9.2 in Qemu. Normally I would use FileZilla but for some reason it can't connect despite me following the instructions to the letter. So I am trying to load ...

Re: color problems
So I understand that enlarging qemu will not enlarge the same from the top/down and it does from the left/right. My question is since my screen is wider than the screen the game/program qemu is running why can't qemu make it as tall as possible and as wide as possible without stretching out of scale ...

Re: color problems
Your right Qemu is having trouble keeping the scale of the graphics consistent but shouldn't Qemu automatically keep the dimensions the same but larger when in fullscreen? Isn't that why there are black boxes on the sides?

Re: My BasiliskII sound drops out during playing games
My host system is windows 10. For Basilisk I emulate Mac OS 7.5.5, 7.6.1, and 8.1 with a "1993-10 - FF7439EE - LC475,575,Quadra 605,Performa 475,476,575,577,578.ROM" ROM file. For sheepshaver I emulate Mac OS 9 with "newworld86.rom."

color problems
I love that Qemu can be set to fullscreen despite whatever screen resolution the emulator is set to and whatever resolution the host computer is set to. However it seems to cause some problems with color quality when I do.

Re: My BasiliskII sound drops out during playing games
I didn't get a notification when you replied so I'm just answering now, and yes, I did check the box to notify me when a reply is posted. I know the music cuts out normally in Simcity 2000 but in this case all the sound cuts out, not just music, and not just Simcity. Any game or program where sound ...

Re: My BasiliskII sound drops out during playing games
For me "SimCity 2000" loses sound really quickly in Basilisk. Any game where sound is constantly playing such as with music increases the chance that sound will just stop, never work again while on, and the emulator will be unable to shut down or restart. It's one of the reasons I switched to Qemu ...

Trouble with .toast
I'm having trouble opening toast files in qemu. I use programs like Stuffit expander, disk copy, and Virtual CD/DVD-ROM Utility and these programs work fine at opening toast in Basilisk and Sheepshaver but for qemu they don't. I may get error messages like "There are insufficient system resources to ...

Qemu won't restart
My Qemu doesn't restart when I ask it to, it just goes black. I then have to close the program at the window and then it's angry at me when I open the program again. Normally I wouldn't restart, I would just shut down but sometimes when I install something it demands I restart qemu. This is the ...

Re: Trouble with Qemu Guide
Oh I was hoping I could just plug another volume into qemu like I do with sheepshaver and basilisk and not worry about partitions. I thought you were talking about merging two volumes into one. Can't I just plug a blank volume in and have two drives?

Re: Trouble with Qemu Guide
OK, so what I'm hearing is create more drives like in basilisk and sheepshaver, so I went through the process in the guide where I navigated to the qemu folder and enterted "qemu-img.exe create -f raw -o size=4g Games1.qcow2" and edited my qemu.bat from

Re: folder size requirements
That worked, but how does it solve my space issue? If I start putting software in my (I don't know what you would call it, basilisk and sheepshaver call them volumes) will space automatically grow to fit? In Sheepshaver I just made three volumes for all my games but some of them were really large ...

Re: folder size requirements
You mean use command prompt to create it, correct? Just like I did with the qemu drive I have my os 9.2 installed on? I remember being confused in the guide when I was told to use the qemu-img.exe to create a drive until I was told to use the command prompt instead. I'm going to ask instead of try ...
